How many times have you bought the wrong lottery ticket? Has it ever paid off for you? A man in southwestern Connecticut who mistakenly bought the wrong lottery ticket, is now $30,000 richer.

Bob Sabo did not want to wait in line to buy a lottery ticket in Fairfield CT. He decided to buy a ticket from a lottery vending machine, something he had previously never done. Due to some bad luck, WTNH reports he was able to strike gold.

"Sabo says he meant to buy two $20 tickets, but says he didn’t have his glasses on and instead bought a $30 ticket. When he got home, he discovered the ticket was a winner."

I guess it pays to not where your glasses more right?
