Hundreds Turn Out For Alex Kogut Funeral

The outpouring of support for Alex Kogut and her family was in the hundreds as the New Hartford teen was laid to rest.

Students, friends and family paid their final respects at Kogut's funeral in New Hartford.  The SUNY Brockport student was murdered in her dorm room last weekend.  Her boyfriend, Clayton Whittemore is charged with her murder and is being held without bail.

Jeanette Lenoir of WIBX950 was at the service and spoke with her piano teacher.

Tomorrow is dedicated to wearing purple in honor of Alex and to raise awareness during Domestic Violence Month.
