Syracuse University Basketball players C.J. Fair and Baye-Moussa Keita had the height advantage at the Sitrin Celebrity Wheelchair basketball game, forcing WKTV's Steve McMurray to stand on a box during his pre-game interview. It didn't help. The celebrities lost for the 12th straight year, even though we played 7 on 5 and scored a 10 point basket. The finals score - 58-42.

Olympian Erin Hamlin, Fair, Keita, MMA fighter Matt Hamill and Illusionists Leon Etienne and Romy Lowe joined local celebrities, who took on the Sitrin players, the real stars of the game. Those guys are AMAZING and boy are they FAST. Fair did manage to sink a 3 pointer from his chair.

While on the bench, I had the opportunity to sit between Hamlin and Low, so we had to take a 'Girl Power' selfie.

Thankfully Keita ducked down for his selfie.  Man that guy is tall!  He's also very personable. When I asked if we could take a shot together, his reply was 'I love selfies.'

What a great event, all to benefit the Sitrin STARS program. I'd do it again despite a finger injury. To rub salt in the wound, it happened in practice before we even started playing.

By the way, if you were wondering how tall Fair and Keita really are, watch McMurray step off his box at the end of the interview.
