Climb aboard the GlassBarge as it travels through central New York this Summer. The floating glass-making studio is making its way up the Erie Canal with free glassblowing demonstrations each day from the Corning Museum of Glass.

"We’re eager to fire up the furnaces to 2100° and kick off a summer of glassblowing on the waterways of New York!” said Steve Gibbs, Senior Manager of Hot Glass Business and Technology Development.

Free daily glassblowing demos will be 11am to 6pm and will last about 30 minutes, but seating is limited. You're strongly encouraged to register online for specific demonstration locations and times. Registration will be available four to six weeks prior to each stop.
