The summer's popular film series in Utica's Franklin Square is making a return for Halloween.

On October 22nd, Made in Utica will be hosting a Franklin Square Film Series 'Fright Night' with Halloween themed activities and a double feature.

The evening begins at 5 p.m. with pumpkin decorating and face painting, and at dusk(approx. 6:30 p.m.) the double feature will kick off with 1993's Hocus Pocus, followed by the 1978 classic horror film Halloween.

Bite Bakery and Cafe will also be open late for movie snacks.

The event will be held outside in the Franklin Square Alley of Downtown Utica, and organizers suggest arriving early with your own seating as prime viewing fills up fast.
