Brookfield Firefighter Recognized For Over 30 Years Of Service
If you've dedicated years of service to your community like Frank has, you deserve to be recognized for it.
Meet Frank Kabana
As a volunteer member of the Brookfield Fire Department, Frank has worked for over 30 years protecting the people in and surrounding his community. As the Chief, he always puts others first, making sure to put a smile on their face while he's doing it.
On top of volunteering, Frank has a lot more on his plate too. He owns and manages his own bar in town. So next time you're in town, be sure to stop by Flick's Tavern for a drink and some good food.
Frank's team admires his dedication and commitment to the Fire Department.
When that fire whistle goes off no matter what Frank is doing he drops everything and is off to the "FIRE".
With that being said, we want to thank you Frank for all that you do. Your years of service have left a lasting impact on all of those around you. Not only are you protecting your community, but you're making it a better place to live at the same time.
Do you know a first responder that deserves to be recognized? Tell us about someone who should be honored in Central New York - a firefighter, police officer, EMT, forest ranger, paramedic, DEC officers, military, rescuers, front line workers, or any other person first on the scene.
Include their name, a picture, and why they should be recognized during 'First Responder Friday." We'll honor one first responder every Friday and as a way to say thank you, we'll give them an oil change from Jiffy Lube on Commercial Drive in New Hartford and a Bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes.
