Meet Brandon Lane

He wears so many hats in his town, but we will start with his role as a fire fighter. Brandon has been with the Mohawk Fire Department for over 10 years. He is extremely proud to represent the station in any way he can.

From the front-line to the bookshelf, Brandon also serves as President for the Mohawk Library. So not only does he work to protect his community, but he also promotes the importance of education as well.

It seems like Brandon's job list goes on-and-on, but none of it seems like work to him. He's just proud to serve in any way he can.

Thank you, Brandon for all that you do for your community. Your time never goes unnoticed and you should be proud of all you've done.

Nominate a First Responder

Do you know a first responder that deserves to be recognized? Tell us about someone who should be honored in Central New York - a firefighter, police officer, EMT, forest ranger, paramedic, DEC officer, military, rescuer, front-line worker, or any other person first on the scene.

Include their name, a picture, and why they should be recognized during 'First Responder Friday." We'll honor one first responder every Friday and as a way to say thank you, we'll give them a Bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes.
