2020 FrogFest artist Dylan Jakobsen took to the streets of downtown Nashville last month to share strangers' stories with just a few words. He handed them a chalkboard and a piece of chalk, and asked them to finish the phrase "I am...."

After asking people from all walks of life, the results were diverse and give a little insight into what these people think makes them... them.

"It’s been pretty wild to see the evolution of ‘I Am’ over the past few months,” Jakobsen told Sounds Like Nashville. “I remember when I was writing it, I wanted to take an introspective look into myself and show all the pieces that make up who I am when you take off the top layer. I feel like sometimes we look at people and only see their occupation or title; we just take them at face value and forget about all the layers underneath."

Jakobsen joins the Eli Young Band, Stephanie Quayle, Alexandria Corn and more at FrogFest 32, coming back to the Utica-Rome Speedway on May 30. Tickets go on general sale Friday, February 21 at 8 a.m., but pre-sales start Thursday, February 20 at 8 a.m.
