Blaine Holcomb Returns to FrogFest
Blaine Holcomb returns to central New York for FrogFest 31, featuring Randy Houser June 1st at the Utica/Rome Speedway.
The Hamilton, New York native has spent the last 3 and a half years finding his place in Nashville, performing at honky-tonks on Broadway while working on new music. "It's been a long process," says Holcomb. But the process has been worth it. Holcomb released his self titled album last fall. "There's a lot more that goes into it than I really knew, but I'm real happy with how it turned out."
The first single 'Cowboys Do,' leans towards Holcomb's style of traditional country and he says he knew he had to record it. "I fell in love with the song right away and was really fortunate to get my hands on it. I figured it was the perfect song to release first that represents my style."
'Cowboys Do' is available on all streaming platforms and you can get the album at Blaineholcomb.com.
Holcomb is no stranger to FrogFest. He was a part of FrogFest 25 with the Fulton Chain Gang and Rodney Atkins. He also ran into another FrogFest guest in Nashville. Justin Moore joined him on stage at Tootsie's.
Holcomb has come a long way since 2011 when he won the Texas Country Showdown in Sylvan Beach.
FrogFest 31 starring Randy Houser, is June 1 at the Utica/Rome Speedway and is presented by White's Farm Supply and Kubota. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 22nd at 10am.
