Biggest Loser Danni Allen Talks About Winning the Show and What’s Next [AUDIO]

Danni Allen has been on an adrenalin rush since winning The Biggest Loser Monday night. She beat Jeff by ONE pound and has been on the go ever since.  Luckily, Danni took time to talk with us about her big win and what's next.

After The Confetti

After being named The Biggest Loser Danni hasn't stopped. 'I went from interview after interview to catch the red eye to fly to New York.  I was on The Today show and Access Hollywood.'

Being Recognized

When Danni came to the Big Apple, she didn't go unnoticed.  'People on the streets of New York were recognizing me.  I felt like a million, well I guess a quarter of a million dollars.'  That's the amount Danni received for winning The Biggest Loser but she won so much more than that. When Danni first weighed in on the Biggest Loser ranch she weighed 258 pounds.  When she left she weighed 137 and looked like a million bucks!

Danni's Transformation

The Biggest Loser journey for Danni wasn't an easy one.  It took weeks before she actually started to 'get it.'  'It got to the point where I was like 'I can't do this anymore.' I came here to change my life. I don't care if my team isn't here, if Jillian is being mean, I needed to change.  I hit that mental change that Jillian was trying to dig into.  That's why she was being so hard.  She knew if we weren't ready mentally, we couldn't take on the physical. That's why she was so rough in the beginning and I'm grateful every single day.  I needed someone to slap those excuses out of me.'

Danni's Future Plans

So what's the future hold for Danni?  'That's the best part.  I don't know exactly but I do know I want to pay it forward. I'm excited to actually call myself a runner and I can't believe I'm not gagging when I say that.  I'm going to do the Chicago marathon in October and I have other running events set up so I can run across the nation this year and spread what I've learned.'

Challenge America

Danni wasn't the only person who won this year on The Biggest Loser.  'I think this was a win for America.  Did you see those kids? Did you see the entire season? Everyone just knocked it out of the park. I think it was a great 'Challenge America' season.'

How to Begin

If Danni can lose almost half her body weight, you can too.  She says the first step is cleaning house. 'Make your home a safe zone.  Get rid of all that junk food.  Get it out.  If it's there, you're going to have a weak moment and you're going to eat it. So get rid of it.  That's the first step.'

Congrats to Danni on her amazing transformation and best wishes on her upcoming marathon run. I don't think this is the last we'll see or hear from Danni. She's a beast and will do anything she sets her mind to!
