Amy Purdy Brings Dancing With the Stars Ballroom to Tears With Emotional Dance [WATCH]
At age 19, Amy Purdy contracted meningitis and had to have both legs amputated. But she didn't let that stop her from attaining her goals. Not only is Purdy on the US Paralympic Snowboarding Team, she's on 'Dancing With the Stars,' proving anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Her contemporary dance with Derek Hough on Monday night had the ballroom in tears. It was one of the most touching and inspirational things I've ever seen. I'll never say 'I can't' again.
.@derekhough & I focused tonight's dance on gratitude & being thankful for what we have..#MostMemorableYear #PurdyHough #TeamAmy #dwts
