Adirondack Balloon Festival Takes Flight For 45th Year

Have you ever wanted to take a hot air balloon ride? Or maybe you've always been fascinated by the idea of giant balloons. Either way you're going to want to mark your calendar for the Adirondack Balloon Festival.

Head out to Glens Falls this September for New York State's biggest Hot Air Balloon festival.

You'll be able to see some of the biggest and most unique balloons from across the country and if you schedule ahead of time, you'll be able to take a ride!

There's also a ton of other fun activities for the whole family like train rides and bounce houses, and if you like to fly kites this is the perfect place to do it.

You'll not only see balloons in the air, but lots of kites too.

If you like to take photos, enter in the photo contest where the best shots of the festival are rewarded with prizes.

The festival will be held September 21 - 24 2017 and you can find more information at AdirondackBalloonFest.org.

The Adirondack Balloon Festival is a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers with no paid staff, so any money spent at the festival stays right there to fund next year's festival.
