Do you drink a lot of coffee? Do you hallucinate? According to a recent study done by Victorian University La Trobe, if you like a lot coffee, well, the caffeine in coffee, and if you are stressed out, you are more likely to see or hear imaginary things.

92 people were tested in the experiment and their caffeine and stressed levels varied. Professor Simon Crowe then took the people and played three minutes of static hiss--you know, the sound speakers make when there is no music, but you have the volume all the way up. White noise.

He asked the people listening to the static hiss to press a buzzer if they heard a clip from the song "White Christmas" by Bing Crosby. What the participants didn't know was that the song never played. And, the study showed those who had high levels of caffeine in their system and were stressed out, heard the song.

Are you a high-stress coffee drinker? Have you ever heard or seen something that wasn't there?
