3 Mohawk Valley Diners Nominated For Upstate’s Best
Upstate New York has hundreds of great diners. Many of them are in the Mohawk Valley. Three diners in our area have been nominated for the newyorksupstate.com "Best Diner" award.
One is Charlie's Place on Seneca Turnpike in Clinton.
Charlie's opens at 6 a.m. every day, offers very reasonable prices, and you can eat-in or take-out.
Another nominated diner is Dave's Diner, Route 5 on the Utica/Schyuler line.
Dave's opens at 5:30 Monday through Saturday mornings, and at 6 a.m. on Sunday, and is open for dinner on Tuesday through Saturday. Great prices and wide menu selection.
Another Nominee is Crazy Otto's Empire Diner on Albany Street in Herkimer.
The Empire Diner has been a fixture in the Herkimer area for many years. They open every day at 5 a.m. and the diner still has many features from the 1950's.
All of these great area diners are well worth a visit. One might just become your next favorite place for breakfast or lunch.
