The morning after winter storm Stella was one eerie drive. We headed out at 3:30am, walking past a vehicle we'll find sometime in June.

Roads were snow covered and other than the snow plows, we were the only other vehicle on the roadways. The plow missed the McDonald's on Seneca Turnpike though. The lights were on and we were planning to get breakfast but you couldn't get into their parking lot.

The arterial looked like a bob sled track and we lost count of the number of cars abandoned on the side of the road, covered in snow.

Thankfully the station parking lot was plowed but some cars were buried, stranding staff members at work. At least we think there's cars under all that snow.
