The Snow Emergency in Utica remains in effect as the city continues the clean-up from Tuesday's snow storm.

Mayor Robert Palmieri says a briefing was held this morning at the command post at City Hall with all partnering agencies.

Palmieri says as of early this morning, all city streets are passable.  He says there are still streets that are narrow, mainly in the Cornhill and West Utica areas, where a large number of vehicles had to be towed.

The Mayor says as they complete Phase One of the operation to make every street drivable, the city will immediately begin Phase Two.  That will include snow removal from intersections and snowbanks.

"I also ask residents if they know of a neighbor in need to please do what they can to help” said Palmieri.

No vehicles can be parked on city streets at any time until further notice.
