If you've been following this year's "World Series"(now tied at two games apiece), you have seen two all-time firsts. Games #3 and #4 both concluded in first-ever game ending events in the history of "The Fall Classic".

Here are the details in an article by Jesse Spector, "Sporting News" on sportingnews.com:

"ST. LOUIS — Saturday night was the first World Series game to end on an obstruction call. Sunday night was the first World Series game to end on a pickoff, as Cardinals pinch-runner Kolten Wong got caught off first base when Koji Uehara threw over to Mike Napoli, sealing the Boston Red Sox's 4-2 win to even the series at two games apiece."
