Twin Brothers Euthanized

I couldn't believe that headline either, but it's true.  Two 45 year old Belgium men were euthanized at their own request.  Apparently it's legal.

Officials withheld their names, but apparently the twins age 45 were deaf and had begun to lose their vision.  When they realized they would never be able to see each other again they decided their time had come.

"They had a cup of coffee in the hall. It went well and a rich conversation. Then the separation from their parents and brother was very serene and beautiful," he said. "At the last there was a little wave of their hands and then they were gone,"

According to ABC News, more than one thousand people used doctor assisted suicides in Belgium in 2011.
