The Last 4-H Show of the Year – Mohawk Valley Show and Sale is September 24 – Ag Matters

A couple of signs that the end of another year is closing in; schools back in session, the football season has kicked off and it's the last 4-H show of the year.  The Mohawk Valley Show and Sale is September 24 at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds.  

Youth participating in Cornell Cooperative Extension's 4-H Youth Development Program have spent a year or more finalizing their animal projects.  The annual Mohawk Valley 4-H Livestock Auction supports 4-H educational programs from throughout Herkimer and Oneida Counties. Each purchase directly finances and supports individual youth participants who are working to become future agriculture and community leaders.

As a buyer, you help these young participants to finance future animal projects as well as their overall agricultural and general education. Additionally, you receive high-quality, locally sourced food for you and your family to enjoy.
