Research from the University of Bristol, England says eating lunch at your desk could cause you to eat more food as the day goes on.

The study researched people who ate and played video games at the same time. Those who multi-tasked while eating, doubled the amount of calories they ate with dessert 30 minutes after they initially ate. So, what is the science behind eating more when you multi-task?

The research suggests that while you are, for instance, doing work at your desk while you eat, you remember less about the food and how full you feel, and are more focused on the work you are doing. In return, the research says, it makes you hungrier later on in the day.

Has this happened to you? While you are doing something else and eating, do you get hungrier later on in the day?
