July 23, 2012 Call me old fashioned but when I order a beer I want a beer. It used to be a pretty simple process as there were only a few well known brands to choose from but now with the increasing number of craft and specialty beers it's gotten complicated. What's worse--just sayin'--is the advent of "fruity" beers. Would any hardworking construction worker or farm hand really walk into a bar and order a "Samuel Smith's Organic Raspberry"? Our local Saranac brand has joined the parade of "fruit" beer providers.
