Sawyer Fredericks continues to 'Shine On' on 'The Voice.' The Fultonville teen performed the song for his mom during dedication week.

'Shine On' is a song from Sawyer's childhood that his mother use to sing to him. "We were going through a dark period when we weren't sure what we wanted in our life. We wanted to get out of the rat race and ended up selling our home in Connecticut and moving to Fultonville with never having so much as a chicken, this song really connected with us," Kirsten says.

The spotlight continues to shine on Sawyer who has won over America and has overcome his shyness, something Kirsten has noticed. "Sawyer is truly shining right now and I'm so happy the world gets who he is."

The performance won high praise from Adam Levine. "It was my favorite performance of the night."

Coach Pharrell is in awe of Sawyer's talent at just 16 years-old. "It's undeniable what you have and what you do and how you inspire people."

For Sawyer's second song, he chose to perform 'Take Me to the River,' without his guitar. For the first time we saw an upbeat side to Sawyer who came from out behind the microphone stand and interacted with his adoring fans. It was the most comfortable he looked on 'The Voice' stage and it looked like he had the most fun.
