Sawyer Fredericks is coming home. The 16 year-old Fultonville teen has put central New York on the map as his unique talent continues to capture America's hearts on 'The Voice.' Fredericks will return to his roots for a rally at Fonda Speedway and a concert at the Palace theater.

Don't be surprised if you see people lining the streets in Montgomery County Wednesday, May 6th. That's the day Fredericks will travel through Glen, Fultonville and Fonda before finishing at the speedway at 3pm. Montgomery County Executive Matthew Ossenfort broke the news on Facebook.

Schools are even preparing for the rally, letting kids out from the Fonda-Fultonville Central district schools at 1pm so they can attend.

The rally is free and you can arrive by 2pm.

Fredericks is expected to perform for the crowd, but not before receiving a few gifts and support from his hometown crowd.

A show is also planned at the Palace Theater at 8pm. Doors will open at 6:30.

Tune in to NBC Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm to watch Sawyer's journey and you might even see yourself if you attend the rally, which will air on NBC.
