Have you hit that time of the summer gardening seasoning where one more zucchini will send you over the top?  Nothing against that summer squash, but frequently we end up with too much of one garden product and not particular enough of some others.  Here comes Cornell Cooperative Extension Oneida County  to the rescue with “From Garden to Table: Using Your Harvest" workshop.

The Master Gardener Volunteers will be presenting the class on Wednesday, August 19th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  It's a combination gardening and cooking class that will show you how easy it is to create delicious and nutritious meals using fresh garden produce.

A cooking demonstration given by a CCE Nutrition Educator will lead to a sampling of fresh-from-the-garden treats. Take home recipes and suggestions on how to best use your harvest for good health.

Tours of the Parker F. Scripture gardens will also be available and Master gardener Volunteers will be on hand to answer your questions.  Registration for the class is $10.00. You can register online or call the Extension Office at 315-736-3394.
