Memorial Day Weekend Clothes Special For Vets

At Big Frog 104, we salute the men and women who have served and are serving our country in the military this Memorial Day Weekend. Now, a store in Herkimer is helping vets with clothing that they may need when re-entering the civilian work force.

Here are the details from our sister station, WIBX:

"This Memorial Day weekend, local veterans have the opportunity to suit up for a different mission; rejoining the work force.

From Friday through Monday, the Goodwill-HARC Store and Donation Center in Herkimer will provide all veterans with professional attire needed to get a job.

Veterans who present their military card and mention the phrase “Goodwill Suits Vets” will get assistance in picking out one free outfit.

The store is also looking for help from the community, through the donation of professional and work clothing, such as dress pants, shoes and blouses. All donations are tax-deductible.
