James Welsey is coming to town to 'Thank a Farmer' and entertain this year's Wild West FrogFest & Rodeo crowd June 15th at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds.  If you were at our first acoustic show, you heard how talented James was.  So we decided to bring him back.

New Music

James Wesley has been busy the past few weeks, working on new music. 'Its been a crazy last few weeks but its been an awesome two weeks. I got a call from Vinny Brown. He found this song and said 'I'm gonna send it over to you and you tell me what you think.' I love the song.

Thank a Farmer

'Thank a Farmer' is written by James acoustic partner Dustin Lynch, last year's FrogFest headliner Josh Thompson and Steve Bogart.  James says the inspiration behind song came from the Paul Harvey Superbowl commercial. 'I was sitting on the floor playing Battleship with my daughter when that came on.  I heard Paul Harvey's voice and I looked up and saw the pictures and just the whole life of these farmers and it just hit me right there. Growing up in the Midwest, in a small farming community of 200 people.  It's just such a great song. It talks about so much the farmers do.  From the shoes on our feet to the clothes on our back and the food on our table. I can't wait to do that song live there.'

From Rome Capitol Theater to FrogFest

James was part of our first acoustic show at the Rome Capitol Theater and he's ready to come back. 'I can't wait. I'm looking forward to this. The last time we were there and played the theater, that was such a beautiful place.'  But is he ready to rock the FrogFest crowd? 'We're there to make it a party. That's what we''re there for. To celebrate 25 years.'
