With less than two weeks to go to the big NFL match up, I thought I'd share with you Greg "Splashin' McShea" all-time favorite football foods. You can practice this Sunday with some snack items during the NFL Pro Bowl, and then be ready to hit the food running on Super Sunday.

So, here's what may be on the McShea family coffee table the day of the big game:

1. Salsa and white restaurant style tortilla chips (for my money, the best salsa is Newman's Own Salsa - medium)

2. Cheese and crackers (Seriously sharp cheddar and of course Ritz Crackers)

3. Litte cocktail hotdogs (We actually sliced up hot dog buns last year to fit the little guys)

4. Nuts (Not just any nuts, Beernuts brand)

And the main course...

5. English Muffin Pizzas (The ones they used to show on TV years ago. Just put some sauce and mozerella cheese on untoasted English muffins, and then place them in the oven or toaster oven for about 10 minutes or so).

There you have it, the McShea family big game football food plan. Maybe we'll start serving up these items in "Greg's Grill" someday. The way I look at it, even if the game isn't going your way, at least the food is.
