Film Festival Today At Utica’s Uptown Theater

Whether you're a serious film critic or not, there's an interesting film festival taking place today at the Uptown Theater on Genesee Street in South Utica.

"If you’re looking to take in a movie or two this weekend, head to the Uptown Theater in Utica for the first-ever Utica-Ithaca Film Festival.

Paul Buckley with the City of Utica says the film fest will feature movies shot by students from the Roy Park School of Broadcasting at Ithaca College.

Buckley says 25 short films will be screened from 1:30 to 11:00 pm.

Tickets are $8 and will be available at the door.
