Rescue Mission Of Utica Served Up Thanksgiving Dinners

Since 1891, the Rescue Mission Of Utica has been there for those in need in the local community providing shelter, meals, help from addiction and spiritual guidance. And one of the most visible events of the year for the Mission is serving Thanksgiving Dinners. Many of your friends and neighbors volunteer each year to serve meals on the holiday at the Mission.

Christmas Tree Going Up At 30 Rockefeller Center

One sure sign of the holidays is the Christmas tree lighting at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City. This year's tree has a special meaning, as it survived the torrential winds and floods of Hurricane Sandy. My daughter was in New York City yesterday when the tree arrived and sent me this photo.
