If you're like us in the Greg "Splashin'" McShea household, you love animals. Now, thanks to a reduced rate on kittens and cats, it's easier to adopt one.

Here are details from our sister station, WIBX:

"The Stevens-Swan Humane Society is reducing the price of cat adoptions due to overcrowding. The Society is offering all cat and kitten adoptions at $50 each, or two for $80.

The shelter is located at 5664 Horatio Street, off Rt. 12N, Utica. For additional information call (315) 738-4357. Hours are Friday 11:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m., Saturday 11:00 a.m. -4:00 p. m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m."
