Kari’s Fish Kyle Gets His Photo with Santa for a Cause

Stop what you're doing and look at this photo. I may be a really aggressive pet mom, but I personally think my fish, Kyle, has the cutest Santa photo ever.

My boyfriend, Evan, and I took Kyle to the Stevens-Swan Humane Society's Pet Santa Photos event a couple weeks ago and were greeted with so much love and holiday cheer. There were so many good dogs waiting for their chance to get pets from Santa Claus, and while volunteers said they have seen goats, llamas, and even a sugar glider get photos with Santa, they've never seen a fish.

As soon as we gave Kyle to Santa for the photo, Kyle swam to the front of the bowl and stayed still until we were done. Apparently he's very well-behaved.

My favorite part about the whole event was that all the proceeds from the photos went directly back into Stevens-Swan and their efforts to help local animals find forever homes.
