2013 Wreath Laying Ceremony in Rome [GALLERY]

The Rome Cemetery was one of several locations across the US that participated in the annual Wreaths Across America ceremonies.  Local members of the Patriot Guard Riders, VFW, cadets from RFA and Proctor High Schools, servicemen/women and elected officials took part in the event.  Click for photos of the day.

Wreaths Across America is a non-profit group that was founded to continue and expand the annual wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.

Our mission, Remember, Honor, Teach, is carried out in part by coordinating wreath laying ceremonies a specified Saturday in December at Arlington, as well as veterans’ cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states, ceremonies at sea, and 24 national cemeteries on foreign soil.
