If you had the chance to ride on a ship that is an exact replica of the original Titanic, would you take it? Well, in 2018 people will have the opportunity to experience what it was like to be aboard the elegant cruise ship that had a tragic end. The only difference between the original White-Star Line Vessel and this new Blue-Star Line ship are the advanced safety features aboard. The other major difference, and this is important, will be the hull construction. The structure of the original ship was riveted, but on 'Titanic II' it will be welded. This is a pretty important improvement.

This project was first announced around the 100 year anniversary of the Titanic's demise on it's maiden voyage. For the maiden voyage of the new 'Titanic II Project' people are already offering $900,000 to sail on it. According to Cruise Radio, the ship will feature:

  • 9 floors
  • 850 cabins
  • 900 crew
  • 40,000-tons
  • 2,400 passengers
  • Turkish Baths
  • Swimming Pools
  • Gymnasiums

When this ship is ready to sail it will not take the original course of the first ship, but instead will go from China to Dubia. Where it goes from there is anyones guess!
