Many are billing them as "one to watch" in 2015.  'A Thousand Horses' is a new band with a mix of South Carolina, Georgia, school mates and meetings by coincidence and that "meant to be" feeling.  Check out the story behind the band and the video to their debut single, 'Smoke.'

A THOUSAND HORSES – MEMBERS:

  • Michael Hobby – Lead Vocal
  • Bill Satcher – Lead Guitar
  • Zach Brown – Guitar and Vocal
  • Graham Deloach – Bass and Vocal
Bill says he and Michael met in a "music store when they were in middle school."  After bouncing around through several bands through their high school years, they moved to Nashville.  Once relocated, they invited his cousin, Graham to join them.  And as musicians have tendency to do in Nashville, they just happened to meet Zach and just started "jamming together."  As for the bands' name, 'A Thousand Horses,' Bill says it kind of just happened too.

Their debut single, 'Smoke' is the highest debuting single for a new artist in years.  And their album, "Southerality" will be out in June.  Check out the video for 'Smoke' below.

They'll be touring with fellow South Carolinian, Darius Rucker this spring.  Which means you can catch them at Darien Lake later this summer.
