Where To Hit The Slopes In CNY
With all the snow that's been dumped on the area in the last week and more to come, its time to get out and have some fun.
When the snow hits like this there's only one thing to do, jump on your sled or hit the slopes.

McCauley Mountain Ski Area
Just outside of Old Forge, McCauley features a 633 foot vertical drop with 21 ski trails.

Snow Ridge Ski Area
Located in Turin, just under an hour from Utica, Snow Ridge has 21 trails of varying skill levels, three terrain parks and 6 lifts to get you to the top.

Found in Westernville, Woods Valley offers multiple trails for all skill levels, a redesigned terrain park and even tubing for the little ones.

Val Bialas Sports Center
Found right in Utica on the Memorial Parkway, Val Bialas is one of only two ski centers in the entire U.S. that is located entirely within a city limits.
You'll find a chairlift, a tow rope and night skiing along with a new chalet with a double-sided fireplace inside.
5 trails offer different degrees of difficulty, and you can also do some cross-country skiing on their 7 miles of trails.
