The pavilion pays respect to the founder of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Called the Danny Thomas Pavilion, it holds memorabilia belonging to the late Danny Thomas who believed that "no child should die in the dawn of life."

The Danny Thomas Pavilion is a true work of art. The layout of this unique structure emits a star-like shape which has five alcoves all surrounding the rotunda. The shape represents the world and symbolizes how far the work of St. Jude reaches - literally around the world.

Inside the pavilion is a chapel, which is a place of beauty and peace and behind which Danny and his wife, Rose Marie Thomas are laid to rest.
