Westmoreland Volunteer Fire Department Helps With Baby Reveal

Meet Aaron and Santana Block. For those that don't know them, both currently serve with the Westmoreland Volunteer Fire Department. Our happy couple is expecting this September, and thanks to fire fighter magic had a memorable baby reveal.

Aaron is a interior firefighter and EMT, while Santana is a exterior firefighter and emt. The happy couple met at Lowe's back in 2014:

We were both working there and everyone told him he needed to meet the other red headed emt, we finally met and have been together since! We got married September 2nd of 2017. The baby is due September 5th!

Aaron served for the Oriskany Fire Department from 2009-2016 then joined Westmoreland. He's currently a lieutenant.  Santana has been with Westmoreland for 6 years. Currently Santana is 18 weeks, and right around the time you are able to find out the babies gender. For the firefighter couple, with some magic from the fire department, they were able to use fire hoses to find out if the baby would be a boy or girl.

We wanted to do something that makes sense for us both! Obviously we have both been in the fire/ems service before we even met so it just made sense!"

So who predicted the babies gender correctly? Santana explains that was Aaron:

My husband was right! He knew it was a girl and I thought boy, but we are so thrilled!"
