Carrie Underwood kicked off Sunday Night Football, singing the theme song 'Waiting All Day For Sunday Night’ again this year.

Underwood is a fan, growing up watching football. ‘I have a passion for it. I have a passion for music. It’s kinda like all of these things get to mesh together for this one event.‘

San Diego quarterback Phillips Rivers, who is one of the player featured in this year's SNF intro says ‘it’s great to be a part of this. My children are old enough now, we sit and watch it every week.’

Chicago Bear wide receiver Brandon Marshall is also in the intro and he's been waiting years for the invite. ‘It took you guys 9 years to give me a call to finally do the opening.’
