A heartless human being threw a cat out of a car in the Stevens-Swan Humane Society parking lot and there's video to prove it.

The surveillance video Stevens-Swan Humane Society released to WKTV and shared on their Facebook page, shows the cat being "tossed out like trash. Luckily a staff member saw the incident and was able to get him before he was hurt."

The staff at Stevens-Swan have named the cat Landon. "He is a very sweet cat. No animal deserves to be treated the way he was."

Landon has made a full recovery and is now looking for a new forever home. "We are happy to report Landon is doing well and has been cleared for adoption. He is around 2 years old and is very affectionate. Landon has been neutered, is current on vaccines and microchipped."

You can see pictures of Landon on Stevens-Swan's Facebook page and get more details if you want to adopt him.

If you know who the person in the video is, you're asked to contact the Stevens-Swan Humane Society or the Oneida County Sheriffs Department.
