When I was a kid I loved Batman! I would read as many of those DC Comics as I could get my hands on. Of course I'd also watch reruns of Adam West starring as the Dark Knight on television. Over the years, no matter who played the part, the character of Batman was always cool.

A fan film of 'Batman: The Killing Joke' is currently in the works. Filming will be done in Upstate New York and they are looking for the next Batman! They are also looking for supporting roles, background extras and more! I reached out to the official contact for the film and this is what he said.

Hello! We’re currently looking for the perfect Batman as well as supporting roles and background extras. Shooting dates are still tbd. We’ve had a lot of submissions but everyone is welcome to inquire. We aren’t currently inviting anyone for in person auditions so anyone interested should just email me here at killingjokemovie@gmail.com. Please feel free to reach out for any reason. According to IMDB, Batman; The Killing Joke is the story of the origin of, one of Batman's enemies, the Joker. As Batman searches for the super-villain, Joker goes after the Gordon family.

In 2016 there was an animated version of 'Batman: The Killing Joke' and Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, voiced the role of the Joker. Here is the official trailer for that movie.
