Trace Adkins Returns to Celebrity Apprentice
Trace Adkins came so close to winning Celebrity Apprentice in 2008, finishing second to winner Piers Morgan, he's decided to try it again.
Donald Trump is bringing back some of the best to play the game for season 13 of Celebrity Apprentice All Stars. He announced the cast on the Today show this morning, although when Stephen Baldwin was in town for the Boilermaker road race, he let the news slip. I was sworn to secrecy.
Joining Trace will be returning champion Bret Michaels, La Toya Jackson, rapper Lil’ Jon, actress Lisa Rinna, basketball legend Dennis Rodman, reality TV star Omarosa Manigault, model Claudia Jordan, actress and former Playboy playmate Brande Roderick, Las Vegas headliner Penn Jillette, rock star Dee Snider, actress Marilu Henner, actor Stephen Baldwin and Oscar nominee Gary Busey.
When Trace was on Celebrity Apprentice I thought he had it in the bag. I even told him as much when he stopped at Turning Stone for a show that year. Donald Trump ended up picking Piers Morgan as the winner. Why? I'll never know. Maybe this time the Donald will get it right. Trace's quiet demeanor and brilliant mind had him in the finals last time and I have no doubt he'll make it far again.
As for the rest of the cast: Gary Busey will be good for a few laughs. That guy is so crazy, half the time you have no idea what he's even saying. Lil Wayne was one of my favorite players during the season with John Rich, which he won and Stephen Baldwin will provide a chuckle or two too. As for Omarosa, she was on the first season which I didn't watch, but how is she a celebrity?
Trace posted this picture on Twitter this morning.
Production on season 13 of the show begins next week. Celebrity Apprentice All-Stars returns to NBC in March.
