The Upstate Cerebral Palsy Root Farm, when completed, will be a place where horses will be used as treatment to help people work toward life goals and adapt to limitations they may have being either physical or developmental.

On the day before Upstate Cerebral Palsy's 65th anniversary, a groundbreaking ceremony took place for the brand new Root Farm on King Road in Sauquoit. The Root Farm when completed will be one of the largest equine therapy facilities in the Northeast. This couldn't have been possible without the generosity and partnership of Alice Root and The Root Farm.
