Randy Houser is one of three Nashville Stars appearing at our Intimate Acoustic Show Monday, October 1 at The Rome Capitol Theater.  In 2007 or 2008 when we were looking for a Frogfest artist, a record label sent us advance copies on a new artist coming out.  We had to promise on Grandma's grave that we wouldn't let the copies out of our sight and not share them with anyone.  That artist turned out to be Randy Houser.

Randy's 1st song was "Anything Goes" and was one of those advanced copies.  I'm not much of a fan for those sad country songs, but I loved the wording of the lyrics and his emotional delivery.

Of course Randy's biggest hit to date is "Boots On." It hit number 2 on the charts and the video made a star of a toddler named, Drake Dixon.

Randy's second cd, "They Call Me Cadillac" came out in 2009. The first song was "Whistlin' Dixie."

After some record label issues, Randy now resides with a new label and a new album set to be released. He also seems headed back to the top of the charts with his new release, "That's How Country Feels."

See Randy Houser along with Heidi Newfield and Andy Gibson at our second Acoustic Show October 1st at Rome Capitol Theatre. Get your advance tickets for just $12.
