It's the day football fans wait all year for.  Super Bowl Sunday!  It's been a long standing tradition for me to take Monday off every year after the big game.  Who can stay up to watch the final game of the NFL season and get up at 3:30 the next morning?  No one!  Most people can't even get up to work at 9 a.m.  I'd guess the Monday after the Super Bowl is the day most call in sick or play hookey from work.  That's one of the reason's the Super Bowl should be moved to Saturday.

Businesses and restaurants would see a boost if the big game was moved to Saturday.  People would more likely head out to enjoy the game, rather than watching from home.

It's not like the players have a shorter time to prepare.  The Pro-Bowl is the week before the Super Bowl, giving each team 2 weeks to get ready.  So what's one less day?  They only get a week during the regular season.  Sometimes less time than that with all the Thursday games this year.

What do you think?  Should the Super Bowl be moved to Saturday?  And why haven't they done done so already?
