Black Friday shopping may actually BE on Black Friday as more stores choose to close for Thanksgiving.

A boycott to ban Black Friday shopping on Thanksgiving began in 2014, when stores were staying open to get a jump start on the holiday shopping season rather than allowing employees to stay home with their families. It worked. Stores that use to open early, are now staying closed Thanksgiving Day.

The list will continue to grow as more stores announce their Thanksgiving holiday plans. We'll update as news comes in. Get the full list of stores closed at BestBlackFriday.com.

It looks like the only stores that will remain open are the big chains that were open last year - Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Kohl's and Macy's.

Do you wait until Black Friday for Black Friday deals, join the crowds early on Thanksgiving or wait until Cyber Monday?
