Spunky Rome Woman Turns 100

Meet Mable Illingworth. The spunky Rome woman is turning 100 years-old with no signs of slowing down.

Mable grew up in Holland Patent but spent her adult life in Rome. She, along with her husband, ran Mable & Fred's for years on Jay St in Rome. Mable still lives there on her own.

Mable celebrates her 100th birthday Saturday, July 21st with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, along with friends at the Oriskany American Legion. And she already has her tiara for the big day.

For her 98th birthday, Mable went with the biker look. You rock Mable! Happy brithday. Enjoy your big day.
