The Rome Police are known for giving back; to their community and beyond. Today the officers in blue are opening their wallets and their hearts for St Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Captain Cheyene Schoff, Lieutenant Frank Fragapane, Officer Charlie Zonnevylle, Officer Tyler Nutting and Officer Jeff Buckley not only donated their time to answer phones during the St Jude radiothon, they donated to the kids fighting cancer too.

Donations collected from the Rome Police Department and Rome PBA totaled over $500. "It's a great cause," says Officer Buckley. "Any time we can help children, that's huge."
