Rome Baby Loses Cancer Battle

A Rome baby is at peace after more than a year long cancer battle.

"19 months old Mya Corigliano, went to be with the angels, on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, surrounded by her loving family," reads the obituary.

Mya had a passion for life and was always smiling. She will be remembered for her mischievous smile, beautiful blue eyes and messy hair. Her strength and fearlessness make her a true superhero, who courageously battled cancer most of her life.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 22nd at 11:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Church. Calling hours are at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home Thursday, December 21, from 4-8 p.m.
