o Ann Jantz Tolbert of Remsen is a Superhero.  Her family and friends say she has andled her battle with breast cancer as if she were Wonder Woman.

The mother of two is indeed herself a long time Wonder Woman fan.  She has been since she was a young girl back in the 1980's.

Tolbert thought she was travelling to New York City to watch the Today Show from the audience.  Little did she know she would be treated as a guest of honor on the show, and be surprised by actress Linda Carter.  Carter played Wonder Woman on TV in the 1970's.  The meeting was arranged by Today co-host Hoda Kotb.

Our local superhero was given an autographed painting by Carter.  Tolbert says Wonder Woman has become her champion and icon for her battle with stage 4 breast cancer.  Her amazing experience on the "Today" show left her crying tears of joy, and will no doubt give her more needed strength to fight her battle.
