She's just a girl with a guitar and that's all she needs. Little Falls native Rachel Demeree is on fire with her cover of Cam's 'Burning House.'

Demeree is studying music therapy at Nazareth College but makes time to play at area coffee shops and open mic nights. Friends heard her singing and strumming guitar on the racquetball courts and decided to record 'Burning House' right there. Just a girl and her guitar.

Does Demeree have dreams of stardom? "I may try out for 'The Voice' after college. Everyone keeps asking if I will so I thought I'd give it a shot," she says.

Reality television is nothing new for Demeree who tried out for American Idol a few years ago. She received her golden ticket during the Idol experience at Hollywood studios in Florida. Demeree made it to the 6th round at Boston Stadium.

If the music thing doesn't work out, Demeree has a plan B. Her long term goal is to "get into a BOCES program to implement sessions as a music therapist."
